What data we process

This website uses no cookies, has no analytics or advertising, and loads no third-party content. What you write in the contact form reaches our server and is forwarded to us by email; it is used for nothing else.

If you write to us, we process your name, your email address, your Mac model and whatever you tell us, solely to reply to you and, if you buy the kit, to give you access and support. The legal basis is your consent when writing to us and, where applicable, the performance of the contract.

If you buy the kit, the payment is processed by Stripe on its own page: we never see or store your card details. We keep your email, your order code and, when you activate it, a value derived from the identifier of each Mac you use it on, from which the original can't be recovered (never its serial number), to give you access, limit use to the Macs included and help you if something goes wrong.

If you ask us to let you know (when the kit goes on sale or covers your Mac), we keep your email, your language and what the checker said about your Mac, only to send you that notice. You get a confirmation email now and one with the notice later, each with a link to unsubscribe. The legal basis is your consent.

To see how the project is doing we count, per day, how many times the wizard is downloaded, checkout is opened or a form is sent. They're just numbers: we keep nothing about who, and use no cookies or analytics tools.

The website is served through Cloudflare which, like any web server, records technical data about visits (such as the IP address) for security reasons. Our email, including messages from the form, is handled by Zoho from its European Union data centre.

How long

We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your enquiry or purchase and, afterwards, for the periods required by law. Addresses on the notice list are deleted as soon as the notice is sent, or earlier if you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability of your data by writing to hello@resucitatumac.com. If you believe we are not handling it correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
