Terms of sale

This English translation is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

Last updated: 27 September 2026. These terms apply to buying the ResucitaTuMac Kit at resucitatumac.com. You have to accept them before paying; we recommend saving or printing them.

1. Who sells

2. What you buy

The ResucitaTuMac Kit is digital content for installing Linux (Xubuntu) on a Mac with an Intel processor. It includes:

• an activation code for the ResucitaTuMac wizard, the macOS app that prepares the installation USB;
• the extras the wizard downloads when the code is activated: the Wi-Fi and camera drivers Xubuntu doesn't include, the automatic installation and the settings that make it feel like a Mac;
• the installation guide, in Spanish;
• help by email if something doesn't work, linked to your order code.

Xubuntu is not part of what we sell: it is free software from Canonical Ltd., and the wizard downloads it unmodified from its official website. Xubuntu and the third-party drivers included (such as the camera driver, licensed under GPL-2.0) are governed by their own free licences. ResucitaTuMac is not affiliated with Apple Inc. or Canonical Ltd.

The wizard, the guide and the installed system are in Spanish. Support by email is available in English or Spanish.

3. Which Macs it works on

The kit covers MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini with an Intel processor from 2012 to 2015, and the 2017 MacBook Pro without Touch Bar. It doesn't cover Macs with a Touch Bar or T2 chip, or Macs with Apple chips (M1 or later). What decides is the free check the wizard runs on your own Mac before asking for the code: download it and check before buying. The checker on the website is a guide.

You also need an internet connection, a USB stick of 8 GB or more (it will be erased) and space on the Mac's disk, or to accept shrinking or replacing macOS. Installing an operating system changes the disk: back up your data before you start. The wizard asks for confirmation before erasing anything.

4. Price and payment

€24.99, VAT included, one-off payment: no subscriptions or fees. Payment is made with Stripe, on its own page; we never see your card details. There are no shipping costs: nothing physical is sent.

5. How the purchase works

1. You click “Buy the kit” on the website.
2. On Stripe's payment page you enter your email and payment details. You can review and correct them before paying, or go back without buying.
3. You tick the box accepting these terms and asking for immediate delivery of the digital content (section 7), and you pay.
4. You see your order code (RTM-XXXX-XXXX) and a purchase receipt on screen, and you receive it by email with the instructions, the withdrawal notice and a link to these terms.

The contract is concluded in Spanish. We don't file a separate document: the confirmation email and these terms, in the version dated the day of your purchase, document it. If you need a copy, ask us.

6. Delivery and use of the code

Delivery is immediate: the code appears on screen when you pay and arrives by email. You type it into the wizard, which downloads the kit's extras.

• You can use the code on the same Mac as many times as you like (reinstalling is normal) and on up to 2 different Macs. If you change Mac or logic board, write to us and we'll extend it.
• The code is for your personal use. If it is published or shared (for example, used on many Macs or from many countries within a few days), we may deactivate it; if it's your purchase, write to us and we'll sort it out.
• If the payment is refunded or disputed with your bank, the code stops working.
• Once installed, Linux works forever, offline and with no licence check. Xubuntu receives its security updates directly from Canonical. While your code is active, the wizard downloads the latest version of the extras each time you use it.

7. Right of withdrawal

You have 14 calendar days from the purchase to withdraw without giving a reason, as long as you haven't activated the code. When paying you agree that delivery begins when you activate it and that, from then on, you lose this right (art. 103.m TRLGDCU).

To withdraw, write to support@resucitatumac.com with your code or the email you paid with; you can use this model. We refund the amount by the same payment method and the code is deactivated.

8. Guarantee and help

You have the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content set out in the TRLGDCU. If the kit doesn't work as described here on a Mac that the wizard's check accepts as compatible, write to support@resucitatumac.com: we will bring it into conformity at no cost to you, on the terms set out by law.

For any other question about the installation, write to us with your order code; a person replies. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer.

10. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, write to us first: we will try to resolve it. You can also contact the consumer services of your region or the courts of your place of residence.
